How is my limit decided?Show +–
| Age in 2026 | Limit |
|---|---|
| Under 50 | $24,500 |
| 50–59 or 64+ | $32,500 |
| 60–63 (super catch-up) | $35,750 |
This limit covers your own pre-tax + Roth contributions across every employer this year — employer match does not count toward it. If you earned over $150,000 in FICA wages last year, catch-up contributions must go in as Roth starting in 2026.
Can't max out?
At minimum, try to get your full employer match. It's part of your pay.
